USB not connected

Windows error "USB Device Not Recognized., This means that the computer may not recognize the USB device. When this problem occurs, the USB device may or may not be listed in Device Manager as unknown device. This problem mainly occurs due to several factors, which may include as follows:USB driver version;* Support for USB 2.0;* Hard additional systems or configurations that can change the time;* Attached hub;* And so forth.

To overcome this problem, try one of the solutions below:
1. Unplug the USB device. There is a possibility that the connection is not secure and have become loose. This is one of the most common reasons for detecting errors on the USB device. 

2. Use Device Manager to scan and recently installed new hardware. From the start menu, select 'Run' option. In the pop-up box, type Devmgmt.msc and then click 'Ok'. From the 'Action' Mmnu, click 'Scan for hardware changes'. This will make Windows recognize the new device is installed. Now, close all the device manager and control panel. Now see if your computer will read the USB device.

If it does not work, here is another option that you can try:
Turn off power management of USB hubs. To disable power management on the USB hub, follow these steps:
* Click Start, and then click Run. 

* Type devmgmt.msc in the Open box, then click OK. 
* Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers "node, and then follow these steps for each USB Root Hub listed: 
* Right-click USB Root Hub and then click Properties. 
* Click the Power Management tab.* Click to clear the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box, then click OK.
 

Note : If you perform the following procedure on a laptop computer, you can reduce the battery life.
Sometimes, simply unplug the USB device and turn off the computer for twenty minutes and then restart to solve the problem. If none of the above options have solved the problem, check your manufacturer's website for information on new drivers. It is possible that you need updated drivers.
